    Buzzvil is looking for a Partnerships Manager, Japan who is passionate about mobile advertising and startups to join our dream team! Our lockscreen service, Honeyscreen delivers curated content and beautifully designed advertisements to users’ smartphone lockscreens and aims to revolutionize the first screen experience of mobile. Also, we are dedicated to evangelize the lockscreen experience to publishers through BuzzScreen SDK, the world’s first and best lockscreen ad network. Since it’s founded in 2012, we have been growing enormously and now work with 60 awesome talents in the world’s coolest cities - New York, Tokyo, Taipei, and Seoul. This position will be our first Partnerships Manager in the country. Working with Managing Director Japan, you will identify potential partnerships opportunities for BuzzScreen SDK such as mobile app publishers, telcos, or device makers and close the deals with them. This role will lead the entire deal process from A to Z and its performance will be evaluated based on partnerships result. The candidate will be able to learn how to develop the market in its infant stage and how to scale up in a seemingly mad pace.     Key Responsibilities As our Partnerships Manager, Japan, you will: Be responsible for leading outbound partnership activities of BuzzScreen and delivering against assigned quota/target each quarter. Identify target clients and devise partnership strategies customized for each segment. Negotiate key terms of agreement and close the deal. Be a consultant supporting partners’ lockscreen business in operations, marketing and revenue optimization by collaborating with our teams internally. Assess the needs of our clients and gather their feedback to improve upon existing solution. Manage partners’ accounts in terms of day-to-day trouble-shootings and financials.

    Requirements

    As our Partnerships Manager, Japan, you should have: 3+ years of experience in any of the following: mobile/Internet service marketing or operations, management consulting, business development, or sales. Native fluency in Japanese AND business-level fluency in English. Excellent communication and networking skills with a bold mindset: never be afraid of hearing ‘No’. Demonstrable analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel. Strong interest in startup culture and a willingness to work proactively in a fast-paced environment as part of a small team. Permanent residency/citizenship and/or work authorization in Japan.

    As our Partnerships Manager, Japan, any of the following would be a plus: Basic understanding of and/or curiosity in programming or mobile application products for communication with engineers. Previous experience and/or knowledge in digital/mobile advertising. Fluency in any additional foreign languages.
